Isn't Joules Pilsson heading down to them from Clermont? Gopperth's spot under threat?

I’ve not read anything, Sam, but I’ll keep my eyes and ears open. Gopperth appears to be an important member of the squad, so it’d be surprising if his place is under threat.

Read in the Times, darctiger, that RC will join Georgia. IMO their scrum isn’t bad at all already. And I have a soft spot for Georgia - so many good players. Remains to be seen how they do and what happens, but I wish them and him all the best

I guessed that was who it was but the use of initials is not always easy for others, and some new fans to rugby.

Interesting to think who would actually get into a Tigers full strength first XV now... I think only Gigena at a stretch.

Ben White would probably be in the mix with Youngs and JVP to start.

Taufua as well surely? Imagine him coming on at 60mins in the 20 shirt alongside Wiese et al?
