Him and porter seem unable to do a simple draw and pass, and feel the need to hold the ball (usually spilling forward in contact).

Very odd for such a basic skill
I think there's a bit of coaching hangover going on, in the heat of the moment it seems they dither for that split second and then go back to default truck it up
I find it hard to comprehend as it’s such a basic skill, surely should be 2nd nature at this top level.

We should be beating this very average Glos team, difficult whilst we’re shipping penalties everywhere

Obviously there is an element of form to it too but I really think you can see that the backs are a bit uncertain at times, probably hasn't helped if Dickens has been there for a few weeks then gone

How on earth was that not a yellow, 3 offside players cynically stopped that quick tap.....

Its been an issue since about 2017 from my memory (with the exception of the title winning season)

You’re not wrong at all. The cutting edge and ruthlessness is not there (apart from that 1 season). Poor as a Tigers side

I originally thought our front row was going to be better than theirs but Cronin seems to be beaten by Frazer,

And heyes is a little too long which doesn’t help. Shall be interesting to see when Cole/Whitcombe come on today.

It’s a good job Glos are also awful.

Looks like two bottom of the table teams in this game currently

One of the bigger positives so far this season is we've barely got out of 2nd gear and yet we've been in the fight with every team we've played
