its a lack of movement in the line out we just line up and throw no dummy runs etc.Leicestertinytiger wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 3:33 pm Just feel it’s a much improved Tigers team compared to last week.
Reffell back at 7 will make a massive difference and should negate Pearson.
Wiese has had another week at the club and should be the better for it.
OHC back in the team who for me is a test level finisher.
Kata is a quality player at 12 and Porter is an actual 13 rather than shoehorning in Kelly.
There really should be no excuses at lineout with Henderson, Chessum and Liebenberg in the XV. How many more jumpers do you want?

Whatever you are on, I want someDr H Flashman MBE wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 2:12 pm Tigers win by about a plus 7 margin. Backs look a good balance of power and pace. Youngs and Pollard together pulling the strings of the Saints puppets with heavy forwards smashing into their unbalanced back row. Freddie ruling the air like a 1943 Spitfire and Tommy Raf snaffling ball like a truffle hungry pig. This is the start of our season and domination of Premiership rugby...
I suggest the club employ you at once for PR purposes

Started the Derby weekend early with blind hope, optimism and a full glass Cotes de Rhône. Trying to stay positive as I think the future is Tigers coloured…or I am going blind!markharbtiger wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 4:36 pmWhatever you are on, I want someDr H Flashman MBE wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 2:12 pm Tigers win by about a plus 7 margin. It's hard though, lineouts are all about timings of movements etc.Jimmy Skitz wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 4:28 pmits a lack of movement in the line out we just line up and throw no dummy runs etc.Leicestertinytiger wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 3:33 pm Just feel it’s a much improved Tigers team compared to last week.

Chessum, Wiese & Cole all haven't been drilling with Clare for weeks and weeks.
They possibly tried simplifying and minimising movement to make it easier to run the calls.
A week more together and hopefully moving more in time etc
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Oh dear - back to sober assessment and away from Spitfires and truffle hunting pigs...
I sometimes think we're a bit too serious for our own good on here.

no they hadn't but they aren't new to the club we could easily have reverted to last season's tactic for a week or 2 whilst they get up to speed, just lining up and lifting lets the other side pick your lineout apart. If it was just the timing of the movements that caused the issues people would excuse that we didn't even try, lets hope they have been drilling that all weekTigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 4:53 pmIt's hard though, lineouts are all about timings of movements etc.Jimmy Skitz wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 4:28 pmits a lack of movement in the line out we just line up and throw no dummy runs etc.Leicestertinytiger wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 3:33 pm Just feel it’s a much improved Tigers team compared to last week.

Do we think Vanes will get any minutes this week?
Cheering on the Tigers in Detroit.
Previously a slower, shorter, less good looking version of Tom Croft.

If it’s down to form, Tigers may not win, if it’s down to discipline Tigers may come out the wrong side of that too based on last years game. Two tries to one last year at WR and lost by a point.
Yep, Saints forwards have a bit more grunt than before, their backs have always been great to watch.
Still optimistic!!! A game which will help define the season for both clubs.
