There will be a PR element to this. I suspect every world cup player who is fit will be on the pitch.

Worth noting who is on the club advert for this game, one rampaging no.8
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Shillcock
Steward
Kelly
Kata
OHC
Pollard
Youngs
Cronin
Dolly
Cole
Henderson
O. Chessum
Hanro
Reffell
Wiese

Montoya
Whitcombe
Heyes
Wells
Illione
Whiteley
Porter
Bassett

Our right wing options are bare until Watson is back almost all of them are more left wingers oddly, this at least gets a second play maker into the back line something we badly need, hopefully Kata at 12 (along with Jasper can get us over the gain line which will open up the wider game

He was in a brace at the last England match but reports were it was not serious so maybe still injured, maybe not.

McKellar confirmed he wasn't available this weekend at least...

EDIT: McKellar did say it wasn't long term

According to the fixture list on the Tigers page, under fixtures and results tab, it indicates it is on TNT Sports

https://www.leicestertigers.com/fixture ... eason=2024

Also on TNT sports webpage https://www.tntsports.co.uk/rugby/premi ... tory.shtml

" Two likely Gallagher Premiership title challengers go head-to-head at Welford Road this Saturday, with Leicester Tigers welcoming Harlequins in a match live on TNT Sports.
"
Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.

I have seen photos of all our World Cup returnees except Martin, who has a short term injury, and Montoya who probably needs a break anyway.
Anyone seen anything different

Wiese and Montoya have been in some video clips posted on social media - Wiese definitely in training from the video, Montoya from the first clip with the England boys on Monday.

Not seen Martin but suspect he’s doing some rehab with the team.

That’s how I see it :smt023

These days Sale are usually our ‘bogey’ team and we rarely get anything from away to Saracens, even with our top players.

So, as long as we win from now on…………… :smt017
