Do the refs have to go bunker now? Or is it just a get out of jail card for them so they can bottle a potential tough call?

Bit boring this question - if it’s a clear red eg somebody punching/head butting someone in the chops they’ll give it - otherwise refs are not going to spend minutes reviewing something when the TMO can to keep the game moving

Exactly this. Speeds the game to send it to the bunker. Once foul play is clear and it meets the yellow card threshold then send it to the bunker and get back to the action.

I’m not sure you get it …… speeds the game up - we are boo and hiss at MWWR when the ref is spending 5 mins reviewing multiple angles ….. it’s boring

In a RWC final he’s going to need to review multiple angles. Just get on with the game. I’m sure Wayne would be happy to make the decision but given how long it might take - bunker it

We do when it suits! Not we as in us,I mean the sport as a whole. It’s a free for all at times

he's not a doctor as the co coms said the independent doctor should have ruled on that its out of the refs hands.
