the other 6N teams are already kicking away from him, on the wing puts him in a better position to chase and challenge for our kicksMrG2 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2023 4:06 pmIs he going down the EJ route of square pegs in round holes? Steward can play wing but his super power is diffusing bombs. I’m no expert but surely the opposition will just kick to the other wing.Jimmy Skitz wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2023 3:56 pm Smith at 15 and Steward on the wing may well be what he wants to do going forward so why not start now

Why play any of them? Just call it a draw and come home. If you're serious about protecting players this is a game too far.Wayne Richardson Fan Club wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2023 1:40 pm Not sure why you would play Smith, he supposedly wasn't available last weekend due to HIA protocol, why not give him an extra week off, rather than play in their pointless match.

I recall the Parents & sons open forum at Tigers where Nick, Tom & Ben were discussing the farm and they recalled Ben driving a new tractor into a ditch in the middle of harvesting. Not a good reference! I was advised that Ben is heavily into racehorses too.Rugbygramps wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2023 4:27 pmQuite right the farm is very much in Tom and Nicks hands.ads wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2023 4:04 pmFrom what I've read in the past, I don't Tom is letting him work on the farm!!Rugbygramps wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2023 3:42 pm
Just won’t happen his family mean too much to him. The retirement plan will be in place
He may prove me wrong but I think this will be his last season.
I’m sure I read about a holiday cottage company h was associated with, he won’t be short of offers on the after dinner circuit and he is the sort of ex player, like Stuart Hogg, that TNT should be looking to update their summariser base with
It is the right time for Ben to hand the ball to the youngsters now.

To win is not as important as playing with style!

I just wonder if he might have a job lined up at Gresham. He has a house in Norfolk.wormus wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2023 5:17 pmI recall the Parents & sons open forum at Tigers where Nick, Tom & Ben were discussing the farm and they recalled Ben driving a new tractor into a ditch in the middle of harvesting. And no scrum half cover for Faf
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

At some point the gambles are going to cost them.

Hasn't Kolbe played at 9? A bit of a Healey in reverse. But faster.

Toulouse, twice, two or three years ago. Ultimately a scrum time I suspect the ABs would be hoping not to need any other skill than to maybe feed the ball in.
Re: RWC 2023 Fixtures and results
Kolbe has been training at 9 all tournament apparently
