I suspect with a short period in charge before the world cup Borthwick just went with what he knew. I'm not saying that is right. I really hope there is a clear out for the 6 nations. Put Kelly at 12, Lawrence 13, Murley and Arundel on the wings and you have a much more dynamic side whoever plays 10. I am not a fan of Farrells attitude but it's not his fault he played 12 when he is not a international class centre. Mercer should come in and I hope Dan comes through stronger. Is it wrong to feel Genge leaving Tigers hasn't helped England?

I didn’t catch it but was Samoas knock on try disallowed “after” the conversion was taken? I’ve just heard that but surely that’s wrong if so,the try would stand once the conversion is taken

Apparently now they can disallow the try right up until the restart! #makeitupastheygoalong

Really? When did that come in? That’s new to me!

Came in a while ago

1. To stop the rushed conversion to get it through quick to stop them disallowing.

2. To reduce delays while they check, conversion can now have happened while they are looking at endless replays. Less just TMO time
