Parking

Post by watsonjm »

Does anyone know who owns/runs the small multi-storey car park at the bottom of Lancaster Road (next to Opal Court student accommodation?)

Tigers have said its sold out for every game this season but over the years I've never seen it full on match day.

Possibly wrong but I think it was owned by HSBC. It may be that they have a number of reserved spaces, or that Tigers have only leased some spaces for match days, so that is all they can use

Not certain but I thought that it was part of the university accommodation.

HSBC have access to the top and middle levels of the carpark accessed off Regent Road. The Tigers lease the bottom level, which is accessed from Lancaster Road, from whoever owns the student accommodation. There's no vehicle access from the top two levels to the bottom level, although pedestrians can walk through.
