Agreed, that could be a concern. Still, I would hope that he would be in line for a couple of weeks off now anyway and let some of the other full back options have a run out in the remaining warm up matches.

Steward won't be cited. The bunker reviewed it as a yellow.

Ah, makes sense, I was watching with the sound off as I had people round and so only remembered that the bunker was being used when i saw the Farrell upgrade.

Do you have a better source than Ruck and/or the Daily Mail Scott? The Mail article quotes Borthwick as saying the call up for Mitchell is still precautionary, as a response to their story.

Tigers have confirmed JVP needs surgery.
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Does every yellow get a bunker review, or only if the ref asks for it?

Pretty much every act of foul play, that isn't like a punch or something, will go to the bunker.

Once again, we have lost one of our top players to injury while on international duty. As a fan of the Tigers first and England second, this is extremely frustrating. While it's hard to place the blame on anyone, the fact remains that the Tigers will be at a disadvantage. If Ben also gets injured, the upcoming season will be challenging.

No but we know it involved surgery and ankle surgery recovery is at least a semi known thing...

Fantastic win again for the under 18s. Wouldn't it be great if the seniors could play like that.
