Post by CogGom »

£54 to stand at Bath? Best seat is £36 - black - presumably can’t see a chuffing thing, then all others at least £54 - crazy money up to £95. Screw supporters oh and what cost of living crisis

The irony being Barbour originates from South Shields and were originally importers of waxed cotton who started making hard wearing garments for people who worked outside.

They must have a lot of well-heeled supporters. Chiefs went down that road - £35 for the North Stand - and thinned out a lfew regular supporters. My sibs and their mates all dropped their STs, and went to occasional matches; the declining form of Chiefs accounted for some fall off as well.

Ground capacity is limited so I guess it's supply and demand.
The product may not be good but it's the only one in town.

Very expensive season tickets for a :censored: ground in an amazing location. Bath is a very affluent city so £800 for a season ticket is no big deal for most.
