Used to play rugby. Kind of a Poundland Cipriani? Yeah, I'll go with that.
Re: GUY PORTER - EXPANDED TRIBUTE!
Thanks as always, Stan
No wonder Borthwick rates him with all that versatility! BTW love the bit of Iddie

Re: GUY PORTER - EXPANDED TRIBUTE!
A pleasure, my friend. Glad you enjoyed it!
Exactly. It honestly, as a Porter apologist, would surprise me if he isn't at least on the plane to France. He fits the vision Borthers clearly has for England.
Haha. Nothing wrong with a bit of Mr. Jones, especially when he's lionizing someone!

For me it’s between him and Daley for the utility back spot
Re: GUY PORTER - EXPANDED TRIBUTE!
Stick a fork in Daley at international level, tried, tested and not good enough I'm afraid.

Excellent as ever Stan. Great soundtrack too. Nice to see a few cameos of Nemani in there as well. Thanks.
Tigers for the premiership and European Cup. Get behind the team and make some noise!!
Re: GUY PORTER - EXPANDED TRIBUTE!
I completely agree. Both share the same versatility in the backline and though I'm a self-professed Porter apologist, I do think Daly is a tad more dexterous in his position.Rugbygramps wrote: ↑Fri Jul 21, 2023 11:36 am For me it’s between him and Daley for the utility back spot

Defensively, I agree. But would you at least admit that he's been very strong over the last couple of years? At least at club level, it's been a pleasure to watch Daly. He was great in the final.

The music is always a tricky - and subjective - aspect to perfect, so I'm glad you enjoyed the songs. A bit of Green Day and the Dandys seems to go well together.
Yeah, man. Seeing a bit of Nemani brings back good memories. Sorely missed!

Very good, good partnership with Farrell. They link up well together. But Alex Goode is an outstanding domestic player too,a real gem. But he couldn’t cut it at International level either. I’m not sure whether it’s a mental thing with the step up,it always seemed to be physicality with Alex. He was bullied numerous times for England under the high ball, especially when you compare him with Mike Brown. Maybe a combination of both. Outstanding work again by the way

Can't argue with that. Goode is an excellent club player but now that you mentioned Brown, I would never have had the latter usurped if I were head coach. Brown was incredible in his prime.Scott1 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 28, 2023 5:15 pmVery good, good partnership with Farrell. They link up well together. Thanks, Scott. Really glad you enjoyed it. More to come. I've got tributes for The Rugby Championship and Lucio Cinti coming soon!
