Personally I don’t like the current format of European Champions’Cup but will go to the home games.
Don’t think it’s worth speculating about The Premiership or Europe as all squads could be badly affected by injuries after the World Cup!
Whatever team we put out we have faith in the players to get a win.

If we get 12 points out of that I'll give you the money myself! 2 wins for me and might get 3 BP at a push. But I'm going for 9 or 10 points, will it be enough? Who knows?

I think Scott 1 could be right but I believe 10 points will.see us through to the last 16 and 11 or above could see us with a home tie. An awful lot is going to be on that final game home to Leinster, we will.need our first choice midfield to be available and if they are I think we will.win.

Not the worst? I suppose they could have always given us Munster and not Stade.Darc Tiger wrote: ↑Thu Jul 13, 2023 9:26 am All things considered, not the worst, but we have to win those first two to have a reasonable shot.

My Leinster neighbour seems to think it may be a dead rubber by then. Not sure if I agree!

Looks like the only viable option for traveling to La Rochelle is via train - I cant find a flight in winter to La Rochelle....
has anyone else began investigating?

The problem with French trains is that they only announce winter schedules at the end of October so pre booking at this stage is out of the question, they never book more than 90 days ahead but if the change from summer to winter schedules is involved they are very difficult to work with.

Flying into Limoges from Stanstead is our plan currently. We're fortunate that we have family in-between Limoges and La Rochelle to stay with and borrow a car
Could also fly into Bordeaux and get the train up - 2hrs 35mins.

Another option of getting to La Rochelle is fly to Poitiers from Stansted and then about 1h40 by train to La Rochelle.
