At 25 think he is too old nowTigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Tue Jul 04, 2023 8:19 am Neat group of signings, only real question mark is on Williams, as to why we need him.
Only a Loosehead maybe missing, but if the rumours are right that we have signed an international one so that could be a seperate announcement.
Ramage not on the list so maybe just training with us a bit, or is he young enough we could sign him to the senior academy

Hopefully means we have a few more
We know the club has the senior academy to announce
But could also just that it makes pre-season easier to take pics and videos without hiding idk

Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Didn’t realise Powell was only 29 appears to have been around for ages.
As mentioned Williams is a strange one , rumours about Wells injury true, also doesn’t mention short term contract. He’s here now so all supporters will get behind him

I think that is it. If there was a day of announcements to be made, I feel that they would have spread the 4 annoucements out over the morning.
Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work
I think there will be some re-signings and Watson still to be announced

Potentially a case maybe of one a day
Tomorrow senior academy
Wednesday resigning
Thursday new signing prop?
Friday team confirmed?
I feel like these four got announced because they are training already
But we know that there is a decent amount of senior academy lads to announce so it shouldn’t be it

Seems a fair assumption these have been announced due to the fact they have been identified in the training pictures
Suspect, still to come -
Academy promotions.
Contract extensions.
Finish with internationals, Watson staying, and hopefully Fischetti joining.

Great four signings joining the team. Think they probably got announced as they’re with the squad training. All bring some much needed depth. Think Powell will be good pushing JVP and Youngs, maybe some future planning there too.
Fischetti is with Italy so probably why it’s being delayed.

Also still have Fowkes to announce on the coaching side haven't we? Don't think that is official either?

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work
A view from LE2 mentioned in his post that there were couple of other faces spotted at training. It will be interesting to find out who they might be
Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work
4 intriguing signings (Disclaimer - I trust the coaches are more informed than me and have nailed it with all 4)
Joe Powell - Not really ever been his biggest fan, has flashes of good stuff but liable to stinkers as well, can't hurt to have an Aussie international as a 3rd choice SH though I guess
Matt Rogerson - Always been a big fan of Rogerson, he will bring a lot on and off the pitch but It will be interesting to see how he fits in, especially going from 1st choice club captain to potentially further down the pecking order
Kieran Wilkinson - Older and less experienced than Atkinson, will be very interested to see how he settles in and if he can find some of the form he showed a year or so ago at Sale
Mike Williams - Undoubtedly has always had the physical ability to be a top level player but has never really lived up to it, that said I'm happy with him as long as he isn't on silly money

Re: Leicester Tigers 2023/24 Squad a new era
Still nothing on a certain back three though
