Nicolas Depoortère is his name, and he plays for Union Bordeaux/Bègles, for whom he played 8 matches last season.

Another one to watch is Clermont scrum half Baptiste Jauneau, with 29 first team appearances already, including the two Champions' Cup matches against Tigers.
Any other nation would be taking Jauneau to the world cup proper. Frances depth at 9 is ridiculous.

As always thanks Robes, he won’t be far off the main French squad in a season or so. Yes Jauneau is hugely impressive slightly smaller than Du Pont but similar type of player. The French 8 was a beast too. Didn’t get the names as watched highlights on YouTube with commentary off

Marko Gazzetti was at 8, and has made 7 appearances for Grenoble in ProD2, and although Grenoble were in the ProD2 final, which they lost to Oyonnax, the club have fallen foul of the Ligue national de Rugby, and for financial reasons, have been relegated to the Nationale division. I have read that they're going to appeal.
So young Gazzetti will undoubtedly be receiving offers from Top14 clubs.

New Zealand are next up for France U20 on Thursday. NZ only beat Wales by one point in their first match but will undoubtedly be better prepared this time. I’ve read that the French will include 140+kg Posolo Tuilagi, nephew of Manu, in the 2nd row. France seem to have a never-ending stream of new talent that filters through each season which bodes well for the future of rugby over here.

Carnduff captains from the 2nd row as England rotate for Thursday's match against Fiji.

Cusick starts on the wing and Chessum on the bench.

Been following the tournament on YouTube; can anyone explain why they persist with that absurd
on-screen commentary? It's obviously computer-generated from the spoken commentary, but it's gibberish!

I’m watching on YouTube through my telly and haven’t got that. If you are watching on an ipad or similar you can usually switch the captions off

Baby Tuilagi wins player of the match after scoring 2 tries and good all round contribution. He has almost been unplayable in a game played in a swamp.

France winning by 20points with 2 minutes to go
