Josh Bassett - Wasps/Quins Tribute!

Post by StanWilks »

Hi again, guys!

A bit premature, I know, as he's yet to be a Tiger, but I just wanted to share a tribute I recently made of Josh Bassett.

It features all of his greatest tries, assists and line-breaks as both a Wasp and Harlequin. Hopefully it's a tribute that will get you all excited for the potential he has at Welford Road next season: https://youtu.be/7nfK__K1tZc

Thanks for your time, and I really hope you all enjoy it!

Kind regards,

Stan.
Used to play rugby. Kind of a Poundland Cipriani? Yeah, I'll go with that.

Watching that has got me excited to see Josh in Tigers colours! Deceptively quick and powerful and a lot of really good finishes there. Gets himself in the right place, but also finishes off really well.

Think he will be a great fit at MWWR!

Thanks Stan, fantastic video once again! 👏🏻👏🏻

Everyone's going on about OHC coming to Welford Road, but I think Bassett's signing is very understated. I think he could be the best signing of the year if the season goes well for him.

Thanks for the kind words, for watching and for commenting, RTR! I always look forward to reading your thoughts. :)

Thank you, kind sir! There was eleven years of material to work with, so the tribute could have been even longer. But I have a 'no longer than seven minutes' policy as, beyond that time, YouTube start to place ads in the middle of a video. Very bad news for flow and pacing!

Great choice for the final try: hoping Atkinson and Bassett can recreate that connection for us!
Cheering on the Tigers in Detroit.
Previously a slower, shorter, less good looking version of Tom Croft.

Thanks, man! Great alternative angle, too. Love it when highlight videos include them.

I was thinking about their potential reunion the other day! What a partnership that could be next season. Ex-Waspies in unison!

Once again you have excelled, Stan. Please keep as many of these as you see fit coming.

Excelled? Well, that's great news, man. Thank you very much!

As a closet Tigers fan, there will always be more to come. Haha. Guy Porter - The Extra Bits will be coming soon!
