Watching recording of the Blues v Highlanders game mentioned Freddie Burns off to Japan after his time at the Highlanders.
It was always thought likely he would return, but first time I’ve heard it confirmed

Good for him. 2 Top 14 appearances, 3 tries! Sign him up! :smt003
So much for Harry Glynn's performance for La Rochelle ~ he has been offloaded to lower Beziers, another team that Tigers played against all those years ago.
Zack Henry is leaving Pau for Stade Francais and that looks a good move for him, good point scorer for Pau this season.

Delighted that one of this seasons legends Jimmy Gopperth is off to Provence too, enjoy and thanks! :smt038

He has. Only featured in two match day 23s this season.

Given he's in the Italy squad and Benneton have some investment behind them I could see him ending up there.

He wouldn't be the only FOTP there from Tigers either. Snyman has just signed of course, Tiz Pasquali is still there and has developed into a a really decent TH, whilst Jacob Umaga (didn't play a senior game but came through the academy a year after Odogwu of course) is also there.

He certainly had some wheels, no stopping him. Great tries.

Just read on Rugbyrama that Ben White will join Toulon after the World Cup. Don’t yet know the length of the contract.

On a podcast (rigbiz maybe?) he said he'd signed back to Shokki on a two year deal. Never picked up anywhere in the mainstream press I could see.

Thanks SK. He’s been having a great week in Fiji including attending the Drua end of season dinner

Odogwu has indeed signed for Benetton Rugby, for a one-year contract until end June 2024 with an option of an extension, if all goes well.
His coach at Stade Français was Gonzalo Quesada, who'll take over as Italy coach after the World Cup, so I wonder if Odogwu will be included in the 6 Nations' team?

I notice Harry Potter hasn’t been included in the Aussie squad. Hope he hasn’t been led down the garden path by Eddie Jones!

Was he ever going to be. I think there was more to this than met the eye. He’s back home in Australia and has a contract with The Force so no harm done

I saw a press release of some sort stating Jasper will join up with the squad in NZ following the birth of his child. Best wishes to Jasper and his partner/wife !
