Re: French rugby - 2022/23
This is a big weekend in the Top14 and we now know that the first semifinal will be between Toulouse and Racing on Friday evening in Saint Sébastian.
Racing beat Stade Français 33-20 yesterday afternoon in the first playoff match of the weekend.
The second playoff is this evening between Lyon and Bordeaux/Bègles and the winners will meet La Rochelle next Saturday afternoon in Saint Sébastian. Gabriel Oghre is on the bench for B/B and Saracens bound Tom Willis wears the 8 shirt.
Yesterday evening, Perpignan, for whom ex Tiger Perry Freshwater is forwards coach, beat Grenoble33-19 to stay in the Top14.

Posolo Tuilagi with a pretty terrifying short range finish. What a unit.

He certainly is! A similar size to Will Skelton. Toulouse have an Australian born second row called Emmanuel Meafou at 2m03 and 140kg, who’s being targeted by the French XV, as he’s lived in France for enough years to qualify for France, and maybe he’ll be eligible for the World Cup.Darc Tiger wrote: ↑Sun Jun 04, 2023 10:26 am Posolo Tuilagi with a pretty terrifying short range finish. I wasn’t able to watch the match but will definitely check out the highlights. Madosh Tambwe is the winger I think you’re talking about, who’s South African (born in The Congo) and yet to be capped. Bordeaux/Bègles will play La Rochelle next Saturday afternoon in the second semi final.

That's the one, reminded me of Rees-Zammit or Takudzwa Ngwenya with that just raw pace.Robespierre wrote: ↑Mon Jun 05, 2023 8:24 amI wasn’t able to watch the match but will definitely check out the highlights. He’s certainly a unit, and will get fitter and a bit leaner as he gets older. The Perpignan 9 Deighmache ? looked a classy tooDarc Tiger wrote: ↑Sun Jun 04, 2023 10:26 am Posolo Tuilagi with a pretty terrifying short range finish. What a unit.
