And on Twitter a few people are pointing out he's now eligible for Ireland with their issues with a backup to Sexton

Just watched Wig’s interview after Munsters victory. Very very impressive and he is obviously highly thought of by the Munster squad.
As an aside he looks like he could still put a decent shift in and those ears are a thing of beauty

Harry Glynn has just scored what looks like the winning try for La Rochelle against Stade Francais

Yep, the Kerr-Barlow case was covered quite a lot earlier in the year. RWC final for NZ against Australia in 2015 but perfectly eligible for Australia this year.Rugbygramps wrote: ↑Fri May 26, 2023 4:14 pm
They were saying during a recent commentary that Kerr-Barlow the La Rochelle 9, was available for Australia even though he has All Blacks caps, and I think Fekitoa is now playing for Samoa
Burns for Ireland? Why not?

Re: Formerly of this parish
I've put this bit of info on this thread for a family connection.
Posolo Tuilagi has been selected for the French U20 squad for the U20 World Cup to be held in South Africa between June 24th and July 14th.
Posolo, 6'4" and 145kgs (allegedly!) is the son of Henry (Tigers 2003/7) and nephew of Freddie (Tigers 2002/4) Alessana (Tigers 2004/12) and Manu (2009/20), and is surely destined to follow in their footsteps.

Have the French loaded their U20's in the same way they did in this years U20 6N e.g. including players who have regular Top 14 experience rather than bringing young new players through? I'm thinking of the excellent young No9 from ClermontRobespierre wrote: ↑Thu Jun 01, 2023 9:53 am I've put this bit of info on this thread for a family connection.

Yes, scrumhalf Baptiste Jauneau of Clermont, who’ll surely be in the senior squad in the near future.TigerXV wrote: ↑Thu Jun 01, 2023 10:34 amHave the French loaded their U20's in the same way they did in this years U20 6N e.g. including players who have regular Top 14 experience rather than bringing young new players through? They're not messing about with this squad are they - I expect them to win this years tournament at a canter https://www.ultimaterugby.com/france-u20s/squadRobespierre wrote: ↑Thu Jun 01, 2023 11:28 amYes, scrumhalf Baptiste Jauneau of Clermont, who’ll surely be in the senior squad in the near future.TigerXV wrote: ↑Thu Jun 01, 2023 10:34 amHave the French loaded their U20's in the same way they did in this years U20 6N e.g. including players who have regular Top 14 experience rather than bringing young new players through? On Tuilagi children, I couldn't believe it when I looked Brian Tuilagi up the other day and he's already 29!Robespierre wrote: ↑Thu Jun 01, 2023 9:53 am I've put this bit of info on this thread for a family connection.

Any other nation and he'd probably be at the world cup. I think he played Vs England in the 6N (I think his only appearance due to playing for Clermont but could be wrong) and it was blatantly obvious he was a cut above. I'm expecting him to really make a big difference for France.Robespierre wrote: ↑Thu Jun 01, 2023 11:28 amYes, scrumhalf Baptiste Jauneau of Clermont, who’ll surely be in the senior squad in the near future.TigerXV wrote: ↑Thu Jun 01, 2023 10:34 amHave the French loaded their U20's in the same way they did in this years U20 6N e.g. including players who have regular Top 14 experience rather than bringing young new players through? Re: Formerly of this parish
you're right - they played a 'typical' U20s team for all the games up to England then brought in the star young players including Jauneau and blitzed England in the second halfsam16111986 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 01, 2023 1:02 pmAny other nation and he'd probably be at the world cup.
