This announcement makes it more likely he'll be announced sooner rather than later. That being said a raft of announcements after the season is all done and dusted next week ahead of McKellar starting would also make sense.Rugbygramps wrote: ↑Mon May 22, 2023 8:52 pmDon’t know about you Sam but I would be surprised if we saw any formal announcements now before June 1st when Mckellar officially startssam16111986 wrote: ↑Mon May 22, 2023 8:36 pmEffective immediately. Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2022
Great Context
For me it’s leavers next week (clearing the way), Dans arrival (new beginnings) and his team and then any new arrivals or re-signings
Sad to see Potter go, if we have signed Watson I hope it’s a 2 year contract as he will miss most of next year
Our wingers so far for next year are OHC and Josh Bassett

Only change to that is likely to be Watson or Potter adding to that list
Personally I think once everything is confirmed that the media team will want a week or so ideally to prep how they're launching it all, then do it early.
The fact rumours have surfaced yesterday re. Potter suggests that loose ends may be fully tied up, we don't know when they were tied up, so I think this week or next we'll get announcements...
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

For some reason I thought it was July that Mckellar officially started? I may be getting confused of course...highly likelyRugbygramps wrote: ↑Mon May 22, 2023 8:52 pmDon’t know about you Sam but I would be surprised if we saw any formal announcements now before June 1st when Mckellar officially startssam16111986 wrote: ↑Mon May 22, 2023 8:36 pmEffective immediately. Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2022
Next season’s rugby contracts all start 1st July.
For players at least.
It may be that we're jumping the gun in saying McKellar starts 1st June, however it wouldn't surprise me if we start him a tad early to get feet under the table...
1st June for Wiggy is because the England tour starts so soon after the season.
For players at least.

McKellar apparently starts on 1st July, at least officially... https://www.leicestertigers.com/news/cl ... ent-230222TigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Tue May 23, 2023 9:28 pm Next season’s rugby contracts all start 1st July.

Mohamed Haouas, probably best known for his two sending off's vs Scotland, has been jailed for a year and had his contract with Clermont terminated as a result.
He hit his wife for lying to him about quitting smoking.

Agree it's the quote where he's defending hitting her by saying it's not the fact she's smoking but the fact she's lying as if that makes the fact he hit her better... disgustingkpj tiger wrote: ↑Tue May 30, 2023 7:17 pmWhat an absolute scumbag, I thought his on field antics were bad enoughTigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Tue May 30, 2023 7:17 pm https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/65758424

Some of my Sale friends are saying there's rumours of LCD signing for them as a replacement for Ashman.
