Alred works with a number of players including both Ford and Sexton. The fact he also works with top golfers maybe underlines the balance of technical coaching (of which he is excellent) and the more mental side of the discipline too.
He also previously worked with one J.Wilkinson

Yep, he certainly came to the publics' attention getting JW to focus on his gran in row S! :smt003

Interesting quote about Eddie Jones. Especially with the fact McKellar was one of the favourites to be the next Wallabies coach.

If it were to come up immediately after the world cup, surely that's too early for him to move, having just relocated his family. I actually think it would make us more likely to have McKellar for 4 years than if EJ stayed the got sacked in a year or two...
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

McKeller interview is excellent

Emphasis on sticking to what tigers do well, but the need to adapt and the need to evolve our attack when we get into the oppositions half.

No reckless rugby but attack is the main focus to evolve the next step

Comes across as the real deal, assured, calm, has a plan (or two :smt002 ), grit and determination, bodes well :smt023

Good interview with McKellar, all boxes ticked, just what the fans want to hear.

I'd like to see him do a more relaxed one during pre season that's a bit less scripted and maybe a touch more light-hearted.

I thought it was a solid interview. Seems to have his head screwed on and won't be taking us in 'Un-Tigers' directions.

I did say sometime in pre season, that's about 3 months for him and Tigers media team to sort one out. Plenty of time.

I took that to mean those already announced and he was worried about leaving someone out
