Re: Formerly of this parish
Seems that Bryce Hegarty had a good game for Force in their win against the Highlanders. Playing at 10, he scored the opening try, had 2 conversions and 3 penalties. Horton was playing at hooker, although he became one of 5 players to be given yellow cards by Nic Berry.
Freddie Burns came off the bench in the second half for Highlanders, to be up against Hegarty, and apparently played okay. Not enough to claw back the lead though. Ended 30 v 17.

Game was gone by the time Freddie came on, he did do an excellent tackle back and jackal.MurphysLaw wrote: ↑Sat Apr 22, 2023 2:13 pm Seems that Bryce Hegarty had a good game for Force in their win against the Highlanders. Horton looked decent, Hegarty sits deep, but did an effective job, looking more a 10 than a 15

I believe this is former Tigers Coach Ollie Richardson involved in this...

Edit: before he joined us as an S&C coach, he worked in MMA so not really the coach you want to get in a scrap with..

Not a good look from the coaches - looks more like what I'd expect from coaches on the local Sunday league.

I believe the club is excellent at communicating what it wants supporters to hear about as opposed to communicating what supporters want to hear about. Some are happy with this some are not. I do not agree that ignorance is blissWayne Richardson Fan Club wrote: ↑Sat Apr 22, 2023 10:31 amSimple fact, compared with other teams & sports we aren't very good at communicating with the supporters.ay2oh wrote: ↑Sat Apr 22, 2023 10:27 amYou really love an opportunity to bash the Club don’t you.Wayne Richardson Fan Club wrote: ↑Sat Apr 22, 2023 10:20 am
He has been there sometime, there is an article from the Sydney Morning Herald that said about 4 weeks, he played a club game last weekend.....another example of poor communication from Tigers.
If we want to be the best team in the country that shouldn't just be on the pitch.

Is it possible that our club announced the news once the transfer was official, the player could have been over there for a week or two whilst he and Waratahs had a look at each other before any deals were signed. Premature announcement could have been embarrassing if the player then returned to Tigers.

Very true, but then some posters would have nothing to moan about.johnthegriff wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 11:23 am Is it possible that our club announced the news once the transfer was official, the player could have been over there for a week or two whilst he and Waratahs had a look at each other before any deals were signed. Yes according to some the club should tell us everything that happens regardless of confidentiality, personal and other club requests as it is imperative that all of the supporters know everything there is to know.

Re: Formerly of this parish
An unsubstantiated and sweeping generalisation. I have never ever seen a post on here demanding that "its imperative that all of the supporters know everything there is to know". Fact is you cannot and never will know everything there is to know as a supporter nor indeed an employee of the club.

Ex Tigers Defence coach (arguably one of the worst in recent memory) Scott Hansen is to become All Blacks Defence coach at the end of the current Super Rugby season. Just goes to show how different environments work for different people!
