Just got back throughly chuffed with an excellent performance and especially chuffed for Chris Ashton.
Can’t wait for the Quins game and a double trip to Twickenham for the women and the men.

Very much enjoyed the banter on the terrace with Stuart Hogg. He took it in good spirit, to be fair to him. :smt042

Can’t see it myself, but stranger things have happened.

The thing that comes over, is what a decent bloke he is, and you could see by his teammates reaction how popular he is.
Just goes to show public perception isn’t always correct.

It was also nice to see him retrieve Henderson's scrum cap and run over to return it to him. I was at the far end from him and could hear him shouting "Cam" so he could throw it to him!

He also congratulated Ashton on his 100th when he thought he'd scored in the corner
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Ollie Woodburn tapped him on the shoulder as he walked off and looked like he apologised for the PT because it denied Ashton his ton (at the time!) too 🙂

(Done to death in this thread but FWIW I think Karl was spot on with the call; recent guidance says that PT should be a yellow if the number is known - it's not Karl's fault he was already on a yellow!)

Echo what a lot have said. Yellow card, off you go Woodburn….it only looked bizarre because it was on the try line, anywhere else and it’s “he’s just flopped down on Ashton !”. You can’t do it.

Pollard again superb, aside from the cross field kick. His break for the first try and his passing is sublime, runners outside him don’t need to break stride.

I have only watched the highlights so far, so please don't jump on me...

I thought that Woodburn could have had a yellow for a challenge on the air in the first half too. Maybe it would have been harsh, but The did seem to be treading a fine line. After the plaudits he received last week, he didn't seem.the same player

We did think that at the time on the terrace. However, having watched the full game back it was a fair contest in the air with Steward.

Travelling back from up North os missed the game live. Somewhat shocked at the score given that Exeter had put in a really good shift last weekend. Watched the game last night. Tigers played well and took advantage of the situation with the cards. A bit concerned with the un-forced errors which teams like Sale and Sarrries will feed off come the playoffs but Wiggy will be going through these with the need to be "switched on" for the 80. Good stuff and very pleased for Ashton and the fact he did in a Tigers shirt.

Exeter were stretched and had to gamble accordingly. I agree he was very lucky not to have the Steward challenge reviewed.

As for his second yellow, Dickson applied the laws.

With a double yellow does it get referred to a disciplinary hearing like with a straight red?
