I hope we are having a look at Lavin and Leatherbarrow, we'll need openside cover during the world cup period.
Ah! Thanks for the clarification.

Lavin was only dropped because of his dreadful run of injuries, I'd be very keen to re-sign him and see if he can replicate the levels we've seen from his team mates at U-18s.
Made a lot of sense for Lavin to move on to Loughborough University. Still affiliated with us, good team, great set up and if he continued to be unlucky with injuries then he'd hopefully have had an education that would provide him the base for a different career.

He certainly looked like a decent prospect before the nasty injuries.

Thanks. I wasn't aware but good to hear he's still playing.

I'd agree with above that I'd be very happy for Lavin to return.

Is anyone aware of Ollie Smith still turning out anywhere? As said earlier he was listed with Loughborough last season but no longer.

Whenever I get into discussions about former academy grads I inevitably end up on this spiral of trying to catch up player on movements that ends in me talking about Ed Milne as the number 8 prospect that got away... :smt023

Thought it was Smith on the bench and Meill was a travelling reserve? Loughborough name their travelling reserves which can be a bit confusing sometimes.

Belting game yesterday at Lady Bay, Nottingham just beating the high-flying Bedford. Some great rugby, yellow card to the Bedford winger, which could have been red (don't get me started on decisions in Championship games, without any replays etc)...and a tense finish. Richardson came on with about 20 to go and fair play, made a massive impact, particularly in the set piece, which helped get Nottingham over the line.
