Dyer (sp)? Thought he was running through treacle last week? :smt017

He has speed to burn. One of those players that will hurt us in the future. Raw talent. Nothing better than absolute pace.

Very quick player, dropped the ball but will improve. Can't escape his raw pace. Would you forgive his mistakes to harness his natural qualities ?

That was a brilliant game yesterday ,up there with some of the best I've seen. Not quite at the level of the SA v NZ great games but not far off at all!

Said this last week. You’re trying to rebuild the Wales team and want to prioritise a physical defence, you’d have him at 6 everyday.

Reffell was good at the breakdown as expected. But looked a bit underpowered at test level.

I suppose it depends on the view of rebuilding. Moriety is about to turn 29. He is the group below the current 35 year olds Wales have relied upon for so long but they seem to be going for the 20 year old crop instead. As with Tigers, Tommie needs bug lads to add to the grunt and make some tackles whilst he hovers and attacks the ball. He was making quite s few last ditch tackles as players came past yesterday rather than others tackling them back and him pouncing. Does he need to/ can he bulk out or will it make him slower and less effective?

Wouldn’t have thought that Tommy is smaller than Tipuric who has been at the top for a number of years.

Doesn't help when you've got nothing in the engine room!

Officially 107 vs 98 Kg with Tommie the lighter. The issue is playing the right players around him. I think Wales pack was heavier that scotland but certainly were less effective. Tommie did well at the breakdown but needed more support and dominant tackles from the others in the back 5 to do any more than he managed to do.

Once again Russell in the second half was magic. Of the 5 tries Scotland tries scored he assisted in 4 of them.. if you were a winger you would dream of playing with him.
I thought Tommy and all the young Welsh forwards had a reasonable Games, it was all the old backs that let them down. First for the axe has to be Biggar! I have never understood Gatlands obsession with him. North can follow him out .. they need new younger talent with skill and flair.
Arundell must be licking his lips at the prospect of playing outside Michell and Smith in the last 20 today if Bothers has the courage to pull Farrell off and give Smith his head. It’ll be a fascinating dual between Arundell and the Italian 15

Wales looked an utter mess...if Williams & Webb really the best 9's in the Principality things are bad.....
Thought Tommy played well in a lost cause, that back row always looked unbalanced, both the Chiefs youngsters looked the part, Wales just looked disjointed....you wonder how long before the younger 10's get a go under Gatland.

As for Scotland they are greater than the sum of their parts, White is a real credit to the Tigers Academy.
Finn Russell quite a colossal idiot at times but what a player when he turns it on....the blank expression on Townsend's face says a lot about their relationship.
To win is not as important as playing with style!
