So that would be Basset, Hassel-Collins, Potter, Simmons and Steward as signed on back 3 options for next season, assuming Atkinson and Pollard will be the first choice fly-halves and Porter is seen as a centre.

One or two more back 3 players to re-sign or be signed up?
Assuming Basset and OHC are also done, adding Shillcock to the mix, that's a real solid set of back 3 options, even if we lost all 4 of Watson, Ashton, Kini and Saumaki.

Really happy with Shillcock, you could see his class at Worcester.

What does Theobald-Thomas coming in mean for Archie Vanes?
Cheering on the Tigers in Detroit.
Previously a slower, shorter, less good looking version of Tom Croft.

Class signing
Leicester Tigers can confirm the signing of Kyle Hatherell ahead of the 2023/24 season.

The 27-year-old will join Tigers from La Rochelle, who he joined midway through the current campaign from Worcester Warriors.

Hatherell was born in South Africa and played his age-grade rugby for The Sharks in Durban before playing for Scottish club Marr RFC ahead of joining Jersey Reds in 2018.

The versatile forward, capable of playing in at lock and in the back-row, spent three seasons in Jersey before joining Worcester ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.

Speaking about the addition of Hatherell, Leicester Tigers Head Coach Richard Wigglesworth said: “Kyle is an exciting addition to the Leicester Tigers forward pack for next season.”

“He is a tough, physical and abrasive player of which we want in our side and are confident he will continue to improve as a player at Leicester Tigers.

“Kyle understands the way the game is played in the Premiership and has now added the experience of French rugby this season, which will only add to his game and growth as a player here at Tigers.

Discussing the move to Leicester Tigers, Hatherell said: “I am absolutely delighted to be signing for Leicester Tigers. It is a club that I have always admired.”

“Having played at Mattioli Woods Welford Road and witnessed how passionate the crowd are, I can’t wait to show the Leicester fans how it will mean to me to put on the jersey.”

Haven't watched him a massive amount, he looked a handful when I did see him.

Montoya Clare Dolly TT and Vanes. That’s one too many isn’t it. I hope Dolly’s able to play again.

Think with the fact Vanes extended his contract this week his future is secure. Plenty of opportunities for both especially if Dolly gets back in the England mix.
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.
