If true, when does he come in ? Is another who won’t get a full pre-season until summer 2024 because of the RWC ?

Assume it will be after the RWC ,maybe he gets his team in earlier. Who's with him at Scotland?

I'm happy with that! Really happy!
Ditto. Would be a very different style but so long as there is still the same focus on strong set piece to give the backline the ball to work with I think that we have a back division already that really could shine in a Townsend system.

I'm sure there will be ,Scotland set piece is very good. And I believe their defence is the meanest in the 6N recently, sure there was some stat I read

Worth sticking with Wiggy til after the WC if it means we can tie down a top coach like Townsend on a long term contract.

Wilson makes sense given his strengths are the lineout and contact area. With England Borthwick did that role with Hatley taking the scrum. So Wilson fills the hole in day to day coaching that SBs specialties filled. He also adds a lot of experience to support Wigglesworth. I'm very happy with that news.

A defence coach to fill the hole left by Sinfield would bolster things even further.

Happy with that - wonder if that’s HC or DoR?

Also wonder what that means for other coaches?

Will Wiggy want to be under Townsend? If so, another ex- back in the coaches do we need to sign a forwards guy in there too?

Still hoping for something like:

DoR - Townsend
HC - Wiggy
Defence - Tandy
Forwards - Brett Deacon
Attack - Everard
Backs - Smith
Scrum - Harrison

Would be a solid group imo!

try build two back 5 packs with good carrying options
4. Chessum, 5. Martin, 6. Hanro, 7. Reffell, 8. Wiese
4. Wells, 5. Henderson, 6. Willis, 7. Cracknell, 8. Jansen
RB is that Jack Willis, and is it wishful or do you have intel?
Cheering on the Tigers in Detroit.
Previously a slower, shorter, less good looking version of Tom Croft.

Wishful haha
With his brother moving back to the Uk makes me more hopeful I guess, especially since he wouldn’t fit with Sarries I don’t think
