To win is not as important as playing with style!

I wondered the same, he seems to have had his wings clipped lately!

Ok so lots of chat on Head coaches...
On our playing front, Wigglesworth is supposedly being lined up to join Borthwick
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/rugby-union ... ext-coach/
IF that happens before the 6N then we may not have any of our first 3 choice scrum halves..
That needs addressing as our only options would be Simmons or Edwards, neither with any prem minutes this season.
Wolstenholme from Wasps is a bit more experienced than Edwards but not convinced he's a prem starter. I wonder if Randall is back fit if Bristol will be letting Porter go as he's only injury cover?

Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Surely WW wouldn't be allowed to leave until end of season

Can you just retire mid contract and take up an alternative post?
He may be able to retire as a player but isn't he still contracted as a coach an would likely need to serve notice or have the consent from Tigers to leave.
I wonder if his playing salary is relatively small so might not free up much of the cap?

Well if he does leave for England he has played an absolute blinder.
Without hope we are nothing, keep the faith, a Tiger for eternity

As he is on the playing staff his entire salary comes under the cap.mol2 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 07, 2022 10:43 am Can you just retire mid contract and take up an alternative post?

Max Llewellyn signs for a prem team.
Would be a good signing if Gopperth is off. Mainly plays 12 but covers 13 aswell.

Thought Gopperth signed a two year deal.

He left Wasps because they only offered a one year deal so unlikely he would leave by choiceRugbygramps wrote: ↑Fri Dec 09, 2022 12:07 pmHe did but seems to have plenty of other interests. Wouldn’t surprise me to see him go early if it suited both parties

From what I gather it’s a 1+1 deal rather than 2 year
Also could see him going full time backs coaching if Wigglesworth is off.
