Can’t be complaining too much about losing internationals it impacts us but I think we need to start looking at how we play. Feel like we’ve been found out a little bit this year part of our game plan is to be aggressive and win set piece however every other team is aggressive in some capacity in the premiership so once they get parity it’s very difficult for us to create anything. We’ve got a back line who see very little of the ball at times which is infuriating. Don’t like blaming the refs after games but it was almost like he wanted bath to win at times and the incessant interruptions from the tmo have to stop it’s killing the game. I know he’s a fan favourite on here but I’d say Freddie is far too inconsistent to be our first choice ten he makes too many basic errors he isn’t 100 percent to blame at all but at times he’s made big errors this season which have cost us.

Freddie was excellent first half I thought tbf

Good
Watson looked great which is something to build on.
Back Row did not look like it was missing 2/3rds' our starters
Missed Reffell's turnover work but overall the unit worked well

Bad
Front row subs
Nadolo going leaves a massive hole.
Potter imo can work at 13, but he's in poor form. He was playing poorly on the wing start of season nothing to do with him being at 13.
Gopperth is imo a good finisher to have off the bench and we missed his control in that second half

1. Cronin
2. Clare
3. Cole
4. Wells
5. Green
6. Martin
7. Liebenberg

11. Watson
12. Cokansiga
13. Scott
14. Nadolo

I would like to know how Bath's accounts and how they could afford all these players but we couldn't

So sorry to continue posting but I am so angry, fuming, Bath did not win that game, we were so dominant for so much of the game, we gift wrapped it to them. We were so dominant first half, forwards running, charging, passing etc, not too much kicking, but so many silly mistakes like Potter not catching that ball and diving over. Like someone else said, he came away smiling, no Harry that was just pathetic, you are a very good player BUT also stupid at times. I am not for dropping you but I hope you are paying the penance for that. As for some others, why were you doing so many stupid things, giving away penalties etc? No way was a Bath player MOM!

This is turning into a damp squib of a title defence.

Time for Borthwick and co. to show they've got more than Plan A, because when we're matched physically we need another way to win.

RB sorry to disagree with you but we have just signed a young super fly half, why would you want to play Gopperth, and why was Atkinson put on at full back, Watson was doing very well there, Burns should have been subbed rest of subs just made no sense to me today.

Lot of knee jerk comments.

Potter takes one of those opportunities, we win at a canter IMO.

But he didn't and Bath's game plan of staying in the match and using their stronger bench came to fruition.

It's one of those things. It will swing the other way later in the season.

Generally agree RB - not sure about Freddie though.

Glad you are fellow ABC KT - not sure why you didn’t see or agree that our scrum dominance in the 1st half wasn’t rewarded

- Potter bungling two scores on the try line
- Ashton tackling from the wrong side of the ruck
- Cole continually neck rolling
- Burns aimlessly kicking away

There was some maddening play out there tonight

100% agree with RBs team except Kelly can't be far away. If we had played that game 6 weeks earlier it would have been a tbp by half time and 50 plus points. We need to be able to close out these games and need better reserve props. Really hope Eddie wasn't watching as Martin is a much better 6 than Itoje ..

Definitely not one to blame on the ref IMO. Not saying he was brilliant but the win was in our hands and we gave it away.

Should have been all but done by half time.

2 fluffed tries from Potter and the bench props getting munched at the end. Simple as that for me.

First reaction - Gutted

Second reaction - we looked RUSTY and you could see we outplayed them, but if ring sharp we'd have won that.

Hurd needs some time away from thr firing line. Think if Leatigaga is not available next game we should maybe try Richardson at 18, get Hurd some gametime on loan.
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.
