Pleased for Mcguigan.
Well the info on Schickerling possibly caught England out of the blue as I think it came out 2 days ago, plus Stuart only got injured at the weekend so probably planned to have 3 of those 4 and 2 of them drop out late notice...
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

I think Daly may have cooked his goose at international level with some poor performances. Agreed with Lawrence and also Northmore, who has been going well at 13 for Quins.
Those capable of playing 13 are Will Joseph, Porter and Tuilagi

For me the most remarkable feature of the AI England Selections is the fact that 15 of our "top" players were unavailable for selection due to injury. It seems a mighty high figure to me although it's difficult to make comparisons with recent years as it's not always clear who might have been selected had they not been injured. I guess that it's a consequence of the pace and ferocity of the collisions that characterises the modern game.

Surprised at no Daly,he’s working well in tandem with Farrell this season. But he has had his chances at international level and as a whole package at FB he’s not in Stewards league. Always thought he would make a good 23 though, especially with EJ not needing a FH on the bench. Slade too, must have some confidence in Manu and Porters injury not being that bad.

The problem is it’s a decent team on paper however you know exactly what your getting. Physical team that does a lot of kick chasing where the wingers do very little with ball in hand because they never get a chance and although I think on paper individually the back row is good I’m not convinced it’s our best partnership
