It’s after a game like that we will find out how good our dream coaching team is. Coaching is definitely easier when your team is winning.
Our defence was also questionable against Saints though at least for the first half, and we were well in the game until 60 mins or so against Sorries so I don't see their "new style" as THAT great.
Agree to disagree it’s often the last 20 where it counts. I think we both agree that there is nothing terminal there though.
I think you are right on both counts! It was more the mental attitude for me which opened the floodgates after 60, more than the defence, albeit obviously both.

Montoya and Green will hopefully shore up the line out malfunctions from Sarries which will help hopefully provide some good front foot ball.

I'm hoping that last week was the 'poor performance of the season' all be it against a side which played very well indeed.

Today's game will be a tough one but with hjome advantage I am expecting a win. Looking forward to seeing Manu and Nadolo coming head to head. Bring it on :smt027 :smt027 :smt027

Oh dear, our defence really is not looking great so far, neither is the line out.

I know we need the points, but not backing yourself for the corner and going for goals rings of a lack of confidence for me.

Start of the game 3-5 why wouldn't you put yourself in front?
Exeter last a lot of games last season doing that

I think we've been guilty of not taking points in the past, I don't mind taking a few penalties in these big games

Porter having his best game this season so far. Good to see. Freddie B needs to leave tackling to Freddie S. Roebuck should not have sneaked through between them. Defence still not setting quickly enough.

First up tackling out wide is awful! Agreed Potter seems much better so far today!

6 penalties conceded in the first 20 minutes by Sale, it seems we've been very good at milking penalties so far this season
