1 bonus point for scoring 3 tries more than your opponents
Has it always been like this? It is quite an interesting spin on the try bonus point.

I don't know, to be honest. Maybe a few seasons' ago there was a bp for scoring 4 tries.
If a losing side scores three more tries than their opponents (not very often, perhaps) then they'll have maybe two losing bonus points, if they lose by five points or fewer.

Good afternoon Robespierre, I’ve been invited over to a mate’s place quite near Limoges on the weekend of the 18th Feb next year, would you happen to have or could you find the fixtures for that weekend, or give me a link for them please.
Thanking you in advance.

He scored 2 the second was a quick taken tap penalty close to the line. French highlights usually appear on YouTube although they do give the score in the title

If you look at the BBC sports website /rugby union /French Top14/scores and fixtures for February 2023, you’ll find what you’re looking for!

Last weekend's round 4 results in the Top14:

Bayonne 20 Bordeaux/Bègles 15 (B/B find themselves a lowly 13th)
Castres 12 Brive 6
Lyon 33 S Français 27
Montpellier 43 Pau 17
Toulouse 37 Racing 10

So after 4 rounds, here's the table:

8 Castres 8
9 Bayonne 8
10 Racing 8
11 Pau 8

Round 5 is this weekend:
B/B v SF
Clermont v Lyon
Brive v Bayonne
Pau v Toulon
Perpignan v Castres
La Rochelle v Racing
Montpellier v Toulouse (1st v 2nd, and Toulouse may well rest some of their international players)

Thank you, RTR.
Yes, Toulouse v Clermont is without doubt the pick of round 6, and we'll probably see the return of Antoine Dupont, Antony Jelonch, and Peato Mauvaka. However, it'll be a bit too soon to see Romain Ntamack back from injury.
