I noticed that. Worth stating that Richardson was previously a Loosehead that covered Tighthead, but seems to be trying to convert. That said it will be interesting to see when they get on which side of the scrum they cover.Leicestertinytiger wrote: ↑Tue Sep 20, 2022 12:48 pm Interesting Richardson is 17 and Leatigaga is 18. Given Leatigaga is a better LH and Richardson has been playing TH for Nottingham.
Decent team from Tigers that given injuries and internationals just coming back. Very strong front row that.

I really personally like the idea of Whitcombe being captain... If his potential is reached, he could be first team. captain material one day IMHO.

I don’t know if he’s been injured but I’ve been disappointed not to see him on the first team bench. I rate him way above Van Wyk.

If that young Tigers outfit comes away with any points from that game they'll have done very well indeed. Sale have named a much stronger side. Great opportunity for some of these lads to put their hands up and make Borthwick's selection choices a bit tougher.
Shame it's not on TV as in interested to see how a few of these guys get on. It's a pretty big pack considering their age so hopefully they can give some of the backs something to work with. Walsh and Woodward both look like classy creative players at age grade level so hopefully can fashion something for those outside of them.

Sale miss a kick for 3, we stay 7 in front.
Since the restart after the try we've been pinned back a bit.
