Jaco Peyper hasn't been given any RC games, very surprised at that. In fact there are no SA refs at all

Surprised Coetzee has been dropped. 11 tries in 21 games for The Bulls, leading player when it came to offloads (41) and 4th in carries (215). Defensively made the second most tackles too (210)

Re: RUGBY CHAMPIONSHIP 2022
That’s a great question, and one I don’t think I can answer. An absolute embarrassment of riches!

Looks like John Plumtree and Brad Mooar have been made the NZ scapegoats then!

Re: RUGBY CHAMPIONSHIP 2022
As a leader do you fall on your sword or stick it into someone else, or have a committee review and they decide who gets stabbed? If said committee appointed all of you it is likely that the lower ranks get it first. Having said that tigers did it the other ways round. Repeatedly chopping the top off and letting the next rank step forward. I wonder if All Black method will work any better?
Re: RUGBY CHAMPIONSHIP 2022
Might not be the end of this story yet. Don’t be surprised if Foster gets sacked after a poor RC and Schmidt then ends up leading NZ to RWC glory!Offside wrote: ↑Sun Jul 24, 2022 5:06 pm As a leader do you fall on your sword or stick it into someone else, or have a committee review and they decide who gets stabbed? Re: RUGBY CHAMPIONSHIP 2022
Forwards and attack coach both head out. I wouldn't be surprised if Schmidt the consultant becomes Schmidt the attack coach and Scott Robertson splits his time between Crusaders and the forwards coach role with NZ. Shake up the set up and inject some fresh ideas. NZ have shown no innovation under Foster so far so they need to do something.Scott1 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 24, 2022 5:17 pmMight not be the end of this story yet. I wasn't miles away, Ryan the Crusaders and Fiji forwards/scrum coach replaces Plumtree.sam16111986 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 24, 2022 7:12 pmForwards and attack coach both head out.
