Maybe the list isn't actually finalised until midnight tonight?
Like the opposite of football deadline day!

Is this going to be a case of good news is better than no news?

Maybe it's going to be announced player-by-player...and they are getting the 'thank you for your service' text ready?

He started 5 premiership games after that Sale game…Hot_Charlie wrote: ↑Fri Jul 01, 2022 9:12 amNot surprised. Hasn't really featured all that much after Sale in the Prem other than the prc and although useful at the back, found wanting as cover at 10.RagingBull wrote: ↑Fri Jul 01, 2022 8:37 am Bryce Hegarty expected to be on the leavers list

Off to the western force.
Might explain why it's being held off though, some early release moves between clubs.
He’s been involved in basically half the premiership games this season and started about a quarter.
Re: Leavers - any news?
Bryce has got stuck in and done whatever was asked of him and probably not been asked as much as he would have wanted but played for the team. Kini, Samaki, Socino and a few others are in the same bracket. If we did not have their quality available in that way we would not have got as far in any of the competitions. Better that usual squad players but playing for the team in every way. I think the great progression of the young players has also meant that the older ones have not get as much fame time as they probably expected looking at the reputation of the players in the club when they signed. I thank all of them for making the season such a great one that we have all enjoyed.

Hadn't realised it was that many post Sale. All at 15 though? Point still stands though; I think we wanted another player able to cover 10/15 as FB can. Hegarty hasn't really done so.RagingBull wrote: ↑Fri Jul 01, 2022 10:40 amHe started 5 premiership games after that Sale game…Hot_Charlie wrote: ↑Fri Jul 01, 2022 9:12 amNot surprised. Re: Leavers - any news?
Honesty I think this is more a Hegarty call than a tigers call imo
Re: Leavers - any news?
He would be third choice at best at either 10/15 with the depth we have now.

I would agree he will look at the signings made, Pollard Gopperth Watson, and possibly think that he is going to get less rugby than last season.RagingBull wrote: ↑Fri Jul 01, 2022 11:07 am Honesty I think this is more a Hegarty call than a tigers call imo
There is also the issue of settling in a new country and how easy he has or hasn’t found it.

Very sad for him but I can understand the decision with his injuries and rehabilitation. Wish him all the best.
Matera would be nice!
