Exactly that. Borthwick is as good a leader as you will ever see.TigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Sun Jun 19, 2022 5:18 pm Someone on Twitter pointed out (concerningly) how since Borthwick left England to come to us how the fortunes of each team has changed. It does suggest they may look to get him back sooner...

That is quite scary really, but also quite encouraging. With many of those joining for the Oz tour even the dross from today may be made to look good.Rugbygramps wrote: ↑Sun Jun 19, 2022 5:21 pm Realistic England team of players that were involved yesterday.
Genge
George
Heyes
Chessum
Itoje
Martin
Earl
Vunipola
Youngs
Farrell
Malins
Porter
Lesowski
Potter
Steward
Few reserves. Mako, Isekwe. Ford
Would have made a much better job of it than that rabble today.
Also, add in Kelly when fit, he's streets ahead of others at 12 in my book.
Dombrandt might have showed up better too.
Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.

Absolutely Whitecap, didn’t want to include anyone not fit hence no Kelly, or DollyWhitecapTiger wrote: ↑Sun Jun 19, 2022 5:25 pmThat is quite scary really, but also quite encouraging. Agree. Also, taking off my Tigers champagne splashed red, white and green glasses for a moment, credit where credit is due, I thought Billy Vunipola was excellent yesterday having recovered his form this season and played himself straight back into being a central figure in the England pack. And now with a new attacking flair including a lovely side step to add to that raw power.

With Sinkler out of the tour I do wonder if he may give Cole a call up too?
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.
