It was never going to be easy against Saints and I actually think the final might prove a more straightforward game in the sense of we beat them physically we win the game. Saints are capable of scoring from wherever and we were fairly conservative as a result.

3 wins in one season against your closest rivals is not to be sniffed at and if you do 3 times you deserve to go through.

Front up vs Sarries and we’ve got a really good chance, it’s just whether we can overpower them that’s in question
Also for one of the very few times this season we go in as underdogs, shackles off already over achieved go out and enjoy it

Patience young fellermelad. 22 points, including a Full House (try, conversion, drop goal, penalty) and created Freddie Steward's try. Oh and MOTM.
Haha 🤦‍♀️
Defensively I’m hoping for more from Pollard. Ford has been great for us this season but I’d say that’s what has kept him out of an England shirt.
No worries there from Pollard mate!

Just back from WR - tickets bought for next week, casserole coming out of the slow cooker and the Cote Rotie taking in some air. A good day all round 😏

Actually felt pretty relaxed throughout. Always thought that if we got to the last quarter pretty much even we’d pull away, with far the stronger bench and superior fitness on tap. Saints looked dead on their feet in the last 10-15 mins.

Yeah I’d say you’re right, which should free Steward up a bit.

Stuck in there in the first half when Saints could and should have had at least two tries but then upped the game in the second half.
Brilliant by the fans too( and Saint’ s fans) to crest a fantastic derby day atmospheres.
Good to see Tom Youngs, Maisie and Tiff’s family in the boxes behind us: how they held themselves together in the minutes applause, goodness only knows.
Thanks Tom, Maisie and all the family for somehow being there today and to Ben for playing.

On replay, I thought both teams were clearly not at their best, but not too much to separate them. Too many handling errors by Saints. Wiese was my man of the match

Admittedly this is taken from Twitter but nonetheless......George Ford grabs a "full house", of a try, conversion, penalty and drop goal. Becoming only the 4th Tiger to do this TWICE for the club, after Les Cusworth, Dusty Hare and Jez Harris.

Wiese was my MOTM, he kept us in the game for the first 60, Ford was the reason we pulled away in the last 20...
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Ford did it against Sale in 2018,it would take me too long to research the rest 😉
