Great that we won because we are Tigers. Great that we won for the Youngs’ family. Still a bit of a hollow victory as Saints were overall the better side. Still it has happened to us in the past and sometimes that’s rugby. As SB says let’s hope the team plays to its full potential next week and we cannot ask for more!

Excellent result, some(Marler being one of them) said we'd bottle it, well see you at Twickenham Joe, assuming you can buy a ticket lol.

Phew.

Losing Kelly was huge, we picked a team to defend well vs Saints and our defensive shape struggled to react, our fitness and dog won out. Vs Saracens we'll have a different plan, but think we'll go in as underdogs now, which will suit. Our experience vs Montpellier last year I think will be key.

It'll be interesting to see what Midfield SB goes with.

I'd have Porter on the 11 or 23 next week and go Scott 12 and Moroni 13 if Scott is fully fit.
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Tigers’ spirit wins again! If you look around at ex-Tigers’ players in other teams and management one thing marks them out - great team spirit. So proud of our guys. Wish our cricketers could learn that. Paul Nixon has got it but the others - not yet 🙁

Patience young fellermelad. 22 points, including a Full House (try, conversion, drop goal, penalty) and created Freddie Steward's try. Oh and MOTM.

Agreed, it was huge that we lost Kelly after 2 minutes. Thought Burnsy played really well in his place. I'd personally bring Ashton back in and put Porter in the centres.

If fit Scott has to play at 12 next week, personally I’d have Ashton on the wing and Porter on the bench

Tough enough to hang in there when we were under pump and then score some points in the final 20mins

It was never going to be easy against Saints and I actually think the final might prove a more straightforward game in the sense of we beat them physically we win the game. Saints are capable of scoring from wherever and we were fairly conservative as a result.

3 wins in one season against your closest rivals is not to be sniffed at and if you do 3 times you deserve to go through.

Front up vs Sarries and we’ve got a really good chance, it’s just whether we can overpower them that’s in question

Defensively I’m hoping for more from Pollard. Ford has been great for us this season but I’d say that’s what has kept him out of an England shirt.
