Thanks guys,do you think we've got our England Internationals to take a pay cut knowing that they can supplement their income with 25kish a game? (I do understand its not a given they will get picked and there's a risk of injuries etc)

I think most recently a 12 but has the wheels to play 13 and has played there personally that is what I think we have signed him asLeicestertinytiger wrote: ↑Wed Jun 01, 2022 10:23 am Does Cokanasiga okay 12 or 13? I know he played mainly 12 in the youth teams but has he moved to outside?

Possibly, there is a line that says "and will return to the current level before the start of the 2024-25 season at the latest" which sounds as if there could be a possibility that it could go back up before then. I guess if enough clubs say they are happy to increase the cap again then it sounds as if there is a remit to do it sooner.ay2oh wrote: ↑Wed Jun 01, 2022 11:15 amSorry a year longer than I thought.wigworth wrote: ↑Wed Jun 01, 2022 11:06 amIt will return to £6.4 million at the start of the 2024-25 season.

Same-I spoke to him at the last home game, and he said the same to me. Also, I believe his next club is Newcastle Falcons from the chat I heard.Pmvl wrote: ↑Wed Jun 01, 2022 10:19 am I actually talked to him twice, once inside at the presentation event & as I went to my motor in the car park he came out & started talking to me saying tigers did not want him to re-sign, I know there is a language barrier but that is definitely what he said. I for one will be sorry to see him go if he does.

Yes we probably got Gopperth and Cokasigna for what it would have cost to keep Moroni.

In some ways that would make sense. Not sure it’s going to progress his rugby career much thoughCraig123 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 01, 2022 11:31 amSame-I spoke to him at the last home game, and he said the same to me. Really?! Can't see that but money talks, personally Tigers fan or not I would rather stay at Leicester for less money!Craig123 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 01, 2022 11:31 amSame-I spoke to him at the last home game, and he said the same to me. I think Porter will thrive at 13.
Before Kelly injury he was starting to show a lot of potential there.
Moroni will be a big loss but with Nadolo going I do wonder if Porter next season would have made more sense starting regardless.

Thanks Oakham. From what I’ve seen of him he has the ability to step out 1OakhamTiger32 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 01, 2022 1:22 pmOccupied positions by Phil on start team:Rugbygramps wrote: ↑Wed Jun 01, 2022 11:14 amI think most recently a 12 but has the wheels to play 13 and has played there personally that is what I think we have signed him asLeicestertinytiger wrote: ↑Wed Jun 01, 2022 10:23 am Does Cokanasiga okay 12 or 13? Totally agree he and Kelly were starting to form a really good understanding in the centre and not that size is everything but they both tip the size at 15 stone plus which imo is a decent size for a centreRagingBull wrote: ↑Wed Jun 01, 2022 1:14 pm I think Porter will thrive at 13.

Was mentioned in the press release that Cokanasiga was being viewed as a utility back

Also opens up the door for Ollie Lawreance to come in the season after.
