Well played Karl Dickson, not looking for something that isn't there.

Nothing in it.

Great hit by Genge on Ratdall

Thought we'd blown an overlap with a bit of messing around but they sorted it out. Great finish.

I'm really glad that Dickson didn't red card Wiese for that tackle. Of course it shouldn't have been even a penalty, but worse has happened this season!

Tiglon wrote: Sat Apr 30, 2022 2:43 pm I'm not convinced by the whole "two playmakers" thing. I don't think Burns does any more "playmaking" at 15 than Steward or anyone else does, we just make assumptions because he's primarily a fly half but when at 15 he mostly seems to play the role of a 15.
Are you saying all 15s are the same or just that Burns doesn’t play the playmaker role?
More that latter, I don't see us utilising him as a 2nd playmaker from full back. When Ford is at 10 he takes complete charge. Freddie's positioning etc at 15 generally seems pretty similar to Steward or Hegarty so IMO it appears as though we just ask him to be a standard 15.

I think that was just an excellent line and very quick. That said, we cannot let that happen again!
I'll take that back. I'm starting to agree with you...

Weise tackled really low and as he went to stand up the Bristol player went up and over him landing awkwardly, Dickson ruled it a rugby incident and no offense had happened

"Checking that there is anything to check.." does that mean "trying to find a reason to disallow the try?"

Another good call by Dickson, Moroni tackles Sheedy who has a massive shiner and a black eye already but he was so low no foul play called, Try to Youngs awarded

Dickson calling an offside at the kickoff too! One of the best reffing performances of the season so far!

Bravo to the officials so far.

Calling a player in front of the kicker from the kickoff (who then made a tackle on receiver), about time too.

Scum Tigers back on halfway.
