I really rate Watson, but he’s a completely different player to Nadolo. Agree with Murphy that we always play better with a bigger winger. Was hoping Nadolo would stay until we could bring in Big Joe.

Don’t disagree with you but it’s interesting that the supposed entertaining try scoring teams, Saints, Quins, Irish, Wasps, don’t have huge wingers, rather relying on pace and footworkLeicestertinytiger wrote: ↑Wed Apr 27, 2022 8:07 pm I really rate Watson, but he’s a completely different player to Nadolo. Like Watson but boy, he hasn’t played much in the last two seasons due to injury so hope Ashton stays.

Don’t want to lose Nadolo and Ashton

Losing his EQP status was big imo look how many teams have EQP starting wingers.

I imagine it’s a one year deal to try and get to the World Cup and back into England Reckoning
With a plan to move abroad if he’s nowhere near
If SB gets the job in 12 months then with a good attitude he could be back in the reckoning
I’m hoping this makes sense financially for us as well as a short term deal maybe reduces our risk but it doesn’t work for continuity…
