That’s a lot of experience leaving. Wouldn’t want to see any of them at Tigers

Baxter says the salary cap is really starting to bite and even the Welsh and Scots can now afford to pay more.

Giosue Zilocchi has signed for London Irish... don't know much about him
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

No ban for Care then!

Hopefully something that gets looked at and changed, something along the lines of 3 yellows for any offence is an automatic one match ban. Very wendyball like I know but I do believe it needs further punishment. Thoughts?

But you could argue that a yellow in rugby is already a greater punishment than it is in football as the player is immediately punished by having 10 mins on the naughty step, therefore if they have received yellows in multiple matches they have been punished and disadvantaged their team in multiple matches not just having to miss one game where a replacement player can play. Also in rugby the notion of a yellow being given for team offences, ie multiple offsides in a short period of time, is something I don't think really happens in football and should be taken into consideration.Scott1 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 07, 2022 11:17 pm No ban for Care then!

However a player getting 4 yellows in 4 games does seem as if it should trigger some sort of punishment as it is not just bad luck you are carded in that many matches, there is clearly some repeated cynical play involved. Personally I would set the threshold reasonably high if rugby where to implement such a system, such as 3 yellows in 4 games.

Ridiculous. The RFU have stated that a deliberate knock on is "technical foul play" and therefore not foul play. Is English their second language?

And this comes as a surprise? They've been making it up for years

Haha unfortunately it doesn't. I am also quite interested in the decision they finally make on the Gloucester Worcester game cancelation, shedweb have been pretty up in arms about the whole situation and my guess is that they will be left disappointed by the the outcome.

I’m with you wigworth, anything other than 5 points to Gloucester would be a travesty but I can see it being a 4-2 splitwigworth wrote: ↑Fri Apr 08, 2022 9:47 amHaha unfortunately it doesn't. Sean O’ brian announces he will retire at the end of the season aged 35. At his pomp one of the best in the world, but seemed to pick up a number of injuries

Don’t know how true this is ,but it always seemed to me that he came and saved the Lions bacon every time Sam Warburton was unfortunately injured. Love Sean, crazy thing is he would’ve been a world class 8 too if he hadve made a career thereRugbygramps wrote: ↑Fri Apr 08, 2022 5:02 pm Sean O’ brian announces he will retire at the end of the season aged 35.
