How does it work as regards to home and away Semis OT?
The three pool winners and one best second-placed team will go through to the semi-finals. The pool winners will be ranked 1, 2 and 3, with the best runner-up being ranked 4.

The semi-finals will be 1 v 4 and 2 v 3 on April 26-27, with each game held at the home venue of the highest-ranked club.

The final will then be held at the home venue of the highest-ranked finalist on May 17-18.

If teams are level on points at the end of the pool stage, rankings will be based on, in order:

Number of wins.
Points difference.
Points for.
Tries scored.
Fewest red cards.
Points scored in head-to-head game.
Drawn out of a hat.

As it stands think we end away to Glaws...

If all stays the same (well Glos get one more try which is looking likely) Glos and Irish will be on 16 points with us on 15 and Worcester best runner up on 12. Glos have a far better PD so it’ll be:

1. Glos
2. Irish
3. Tigers
4. Worcester

Glos vs Worcester
Irish vs Tigers

Even if Saints get a TBP win and Worcester get nothing it’s unlikely they will overturn the big PD so expect it to be as above.

If Worcester can score 4 tries second half and get a TBP win they go from seed 4 to 1 and get the home advantage against Glos.

Fine margins but like we suspected that last minute kick by Falcons to deny us a LBP has ultimately cost us the home advantage against Irish

Not sure there will be any involving us. Looks set to be Irish vs Tigers.

As it stands Worcester on 16 Glos on 16 but Glos with better PD. Only change I reckon will be if Worcester can score 3 more tries which will simply change them and Glos round in 1 and 4.

Although that said if Newcastle score another 2 tries and beat Saints then it’s likely to be all change so perhaps you’re right!

Glos and Worcester can’t both end up at home as they are in the same group. Glos will be at home unless Worcester get a TBP win and leapfrog them
