The last time we had Mr Barnes on the whistle was Friday 5 March 2021, over a year ago!!

What have we done to get on the referee naughty list?

Winning games would be an obvious thing to identify

I don’t have a breakdown of how many times we have had each ref but Dickson and Foley do seem to be regular appointments. I think we’ve had Pearce once and have forgotten what Wayne looks like

I raise you Adamson for the Champions Cup....

Another week of guessing for all involved.

I posted this prior to the Barf game:

Our ref of 'choice' so far this season is Tom Foley with 4 games and two each for Dickson, Carley, Pearce and Tempest. Leal, Maxwell-Keys and Ridley we've all had once. As yet, we're yet to see Wayne Barnes at any of our matches.

*ducks head*

In fairness, the guesser has been a lot better in the past few weeks so hopefully he'll continue that level and not regress for this one!

The difference between Dickson and the other refs is that he has played the game at Premiership level for a considerable period prior to officiating which may have him looking at decisions from a players point of view. Still applying the laws but knowing the situations from a playing view.
Only a thought.....

Ive just about recovered from last week and being more rational. Im looking forward to Tigers making it irrelevant who has the whistle.

As barnes is an international ref, we would not see him very often anyway
