Palm first then forearm after, initial contact was hand. The End. Very clearly too I might add!

And you are entitled to your opinion but it would appear that the 4 match officials the citing commission and the summariser for the match day commentary disagree with you. That is of course unless they are now handing out 2 match bans for doing nothing

Hope this works, I've never embedded a twitter post...

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Alt angle ⤵️ <a href="https://t.co/rBW9WbGLDl">pic.twitter.co ... </p>&mdash; Jared Wright (@jaredwright17) <a href="https://twitter.com/jaredwright17/statu ... tfw">March 5, 2022</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

You can see it better on the alt view from above. Palm never touches the tackler, fore arm all day.

Edit: looks like it didn't. Heres a snip of initial impact, rubbish pic i know...

Palm first 100% and them forearm slides across the face after. And are we now saying officials and citing panels get things 100% right now are we? 😂🤦

In this case yes. The front angle images looks exactly as you say, then you see Jared's other post of the side angle:

Clearly the wrist/forearm makes contact first. Just wish some empathy was applied in the judgement, it was mis-timed and in no way malicious.

I do agree that it wasn’t malicious but couldn’t the same be said of a lot of mistimed tackles. Also to the best of my knowledge it does have to the the palm of the hand not the heel

The French team to play Wales:

15. Jaminet ; 14. Moefana, 13. Fickou, 12. Danty, 11. Villière ; 10. Ntamack, 9. Dupont (cap.) ; 7. Jelonch, 8. Alldritt, 6. Cros ; 5. Willemse, 4. Woki ; 3. Atonio, 2. Marchand, 1. Baille.

Remplaçants : 16. Mauvaka, 17. Gros, 18. Haouas, 19. Flament, 20. Cretin, 21. Lucu, 22. Ramos, 23. Lebel.

Sadly, Damien Penaud has tested positive and won't make the trip and is replaced by Moefana who was in the starting XV at Murrayfield.
Another Toulouse player, winger Matthis Lebel, is on the bench, so there are ten of them in the matchday squad. The Toulouse club will be looking forward to the end of the 6N and have their players back and available for selection and to stop their slide down the Top14 table.

England team will no doubt be announced today. Dombrandt needs a negative test this morning, but having not trained with the team all week, I can see him being on the bench.

I would choose a back row of Lawes, Curry and Bearbery. Itoje/Launchbbury in the row with Chessum and Dombrandt on the bench. No doubt Eddie will pick Ewels however and to be fair he had a good game v Wales. But he still wouldn't be in my 23 with the players we now have available.

There is a strong rumour that Eddie will go 6-2 on the bench which would mean no place for Ford presumably, with Slade covering 10. Really hope he sticks with 5-3 but with Ireland's strength in the pack I fear the rumour could be correct.

For those that can see it, link below to article in the DT yesterday with all their journos picking their preferred teams. Interestingly about half of them include Kelly at 12 and Quirke at 9, which i would agree with.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/rugby-union ... -can-pick/

Should be a cracking game whoever is chosen!!
