Hanro missing is a concern, did he get an HIA last week? Otherwise some good rotation :smt023

Strong team for us but plenty of rotation too.

Like us being able to rotate Liebenberg and Wiese out if the starting lineup, Kini back fit is huge for us too.

A win for us would be a huge statement as it's not our strongest XV whereas it's closer to Sarries. However the entirity of that team has shown it is capable of playing in big games for us.
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

As I thought they have brought Christie an Tompkins straight in. Will be a close one 7 points either way. Liebenberg and Montoya rightly rested. Irish at home next week is a must win

A fairly inexperienced set of forwards compared to Saracens, big test for some of those boys and I'm looking forward to seeing how they get on. Great to see Moroni back, I hope he's not too rusty after a long lay off. Wiese and Nadolo could make a huge impact off the bench if it's tight in the last 10/20.

Saracens definitely the favourites, but we know this group of Tigers' players are capable of rising to the occasion, so I'll still be hoping for the upset!

What I’m loving about being a Tigers fan at the moment is that I see a team selection that isn’t quite what I would have chosen, but one that I can’t really quibble with. Dear God, please let it last for as long as possible!

Great looking team and good impact from the bench, let’s hope Fordy has one of his magician days, make sure Daly gets peppered with some swirling kicks, if we win the set piece match ups then I think we will be close, good to see Moroni and Muri back. Still no MVS which is worrying!!

Comfortable win for Tigers and 5 points.

Being a bit of a contrarian and ready to be shot down, but Saracens are half the team without Farrell. He was the difference at Welford Road but is injured. IMHO we have a greater chance of losing to London Irish (and I would place Saracens behind Gloucester and Sale in terms of current form). I do rate many of their players but I also rate our players more at the moment. So it’ll be a wrestling match for the first half. Yes, we’ll have the usual brain farts after half time that we’ve had as long as I’ve watched Tigers. But then the Aled Walters effect will give us the ability to take the game to them in the final quarter. Borthwick is talking up Saracens and doing the usual “one game at a time”, “on a journey”….. but I would suspect he would love to beat Sarries more than most.

Amazing what Borthwick does to one’s confidence isn’t it? :smt023
