Definitely pushed according to the Telegraph. "Axed" was the word used.

Scotland have never been very good with the favourites tag I’m afraid!
The Scotland team looks very strong on paper although I would have preferred Bradbury to Fagerson junior in the back row and it’s a shame Cam Redpath hasn’t had a bit more rugby to get in.
However where England is strong is the bench and I would see them edging it in the final stages.

An impressive team! Cameron Woki in the 2nd row is rather like Isiekwe's selection for England, a tall rangy player for secure lineout possessions (and nicking the oppo's ball too) and mobility. The front row replacements could be first choice in other sides, and Camille Chat isn't even in the squad! Maxim Lucu is a great replacement for Antoine Dupont, but I suppose that Jalibert hasn't sufficiently recovered from his injury to be back up 10.
France by a cricket score (they may well declare at half-time!)

Both Penaud and Villière are rapid and will probably score at least three each!

I'll have both then and Dupont as my captain and Ntamack as my kicker.

From what I’ve seen, Jaminet tends to do the kicking for France from 15, as a heads up Scott!

Absolutely disgraceful call at the end there.. Scotland player clearly hands and arms straight onto the floor beyond the ball then steals the ball while off his feet yet the referee simply allows Scotland to kick it out and calls FT.. what a joke!

We called it beforehand - ref was not interested in awarding England anything at that late stage

Did England deserve to win.. I’m not sure but what we did deserve was a fair application of the rules and there must have been at least 2 of not more penalties completely ignored in the last 5 minutes there.. Shame as it sounds bitter moaning about the referee but it’s just such a shame to lose a game that way.. if we’d been completely outplayed then I can accept that but that’s just thoroughly unacceptable
