England haven't won the Calcutta Cup at Murrayfield since 1984 for a reason!
Eh? What about 2020, 2016, 2014, 2012, 2010, 2004 to name a few? :smt017

Completely disagree with this. The point was about the number of players getting injured whilst in training camps under Eddie Jones. ABC Club has articulated the counter to that very nicely. I know I'm fighting a losing battle on here with Farrell, who I feel provides value as both a player, albeit maybe a squad player, and with leadership. The anti-Jones brigade are coming out like vultures, waiting for England to fail. Having clamoured for months/years to get Smith and SImmonds in the starting line-up, now they are they're still not content !!

Oh...if Farrell was fit, Smith would still be at 10.

"Scotland by 5-10 for me. England haven't won the Calcutta Cup at Murrayfield since 1984 for a reason!"

Half right,it's attempting to regain the Calcutta Cup in Scotland for the first time since 1984

Scotland retained it at Murrayfield in ‘84.

Bookies have England favourites by a 2 point margin

England to win 8/11
Scotland to win 6/5
Draw 18/1

Make of it what you want.

I completely disagree with you, but I don't go on about it, I have always been against Jones appointment even before he got the job, so no Vulture here, more of a Tiger, I'd have dropped him long before he got anywhere near the job, there were better placed coaches from within the Premiership who should have been given the job. Last season Smith should have played along with Ford at 10 and Farrell should not have played, indeed none of the Saracens players who were playing the Championship were up to the job. England should be the showcase for the best of English players and coaches, not someone looking to improve his cv.

Did he jump or was he pushed? Sad to see him go. He was a first rate commentator, particularly on the dark acts of the front row !
