I would just like to add we lost, perhaps we shouldn't have done from the postion we were in, But we did.
We are still top with the difference being one point less than this morning, The world has not stopped rotating there were always going to be some downs during the 6N's period. Lets just learn the lessons from the game & move on.

What happened to In Steve B we trust, I know I still do, As I do the squad & the coaches. :smt045

I mentioned it just before half time, and I completely agree!

It's no good coming on here after a loss and trying to be sensible... :smt044 :smt044

No more silly decisions from now on SB and I'll be happy with this season after years of dross.
Looking at all the teams this year we gave a realistic chance of Silverware if we become clinical when the chances appear.

OK go to match time 49:38 and you can clearly see Burns limping around and touching his calf after a bad turn

Just watched a bit back, 50 minutes in Burns looks hurt.

Probably wanted to play through it but guess Borthers didn’t want to risk him, particularly as it looked like we were in control.

Which explains his reaction, which I agree could have looked like he was angry and getting the shepherds crook. Clearly he’s annoyed that he couldn’t finish the game and maybe worse, knows he’ll be out for a few weeks.

RagingBull wrote: Sun Jan 30, 2022 5:23 pm I mean you do know players try to play through injury.

There are also different types of injury and severity

Or do you all know better

Granted Socino has played 4 games of rugby at 10 since 2014 yet he is the answer to 10
I'd buy that but absolutely nothing about his behaviour showed injury at all and he looked visibly annoyed at being taken off. It is ok to actually be critical about the the teams decisions you know.
Just before he goes off, Burns clearly pulls up with a tweak to his hamstring

Had Sale props on toast although the far touch judge needed glasses when it came to it. 7 tackles 0 missed.
Honestly first start at this level and looked very good.
