Re: Formerly of this parish
Sam Costelow came on against Bristol and had a torrid time. Missed a tackle that led to a try, missed another one (fair enough on a rampaging Luatua) that led to another try and then half made a tackle that led to another try. Probably a night to forget for him.

Sounds like his move to Scarlets really hasn't worked out well for him so farLekkerTigers wrote: ↑Sat Jan 22, 2022 10:19 pm Sam Costelow came on against Bristol and had a torrid time. Personally didn't think Costelow looked that bad last week.

Guy Thompson graduates from De Mont. Copied from Instagram:
What a special weekend this was. Finally graduated with my MBA from De Montfort University and having my mum and @em_on_walkabout there made it so special. Juggling this alongside professional rugby, 2 relocations and other commitments meant having to sacrifice a huge amount and be more organised then ever….but I’m so proud of myself doing it. Thank you everyone for the kind messages.

Re: Formerly of this parish
With him & Watson playing for Scotland & Ford, Youngs & Steward for England that's 5 ex Tigers Academy graduates involved.
White was a very underrated 9 by many when he was with us.

Re: Formerly of this parish
I think Ben was the victim of Wigglesworth coming in. He had some good games but also a few rabbit in headlight moments. Others got the opportunity to stay and grow after the experience of playing some tough games. London Irish and now Scotland will get that experience from Ben. I think JVP looked better when the choice was made and but maybe not any better currently. I suspect a higher salary, chance to be 2nd choice and move to be closer to girlfriend rather than stay on a lower salary as 3/4th choice battle you may not win. Good luck to him other than when playing Tigers and England.
Re: Formerly of this parish
Good luck to him, I never thought he let us down. I'll be chuffed if he gets a cap.
Re: Formerly of this parish
I liked White at Tigers, didn't know he was Scottish though. Unfortunately for him he wasn't as good as Youngs, as experienced as Wigglesworth, or seem to have the potential of JvP.
Hope he comes on and gets a cap
