And he did well on the critical scrum, clock in the red, with a tricky pickup when our scrum was under a lot of pressureJimmy Skitz wrote: ↑Wed Dec 29, 2021 3:01 pmyes and he moved there after Wiese's yellow at the weekend

He also started at 8 vs Wasps in the PRC. Might see a repeat of Van Wyk at 6 with Reffell at 7 and Martin at 8. Think it’s unlikely though. My money would be onTigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Wed Dec 29, 2021 3:14 pmAnd he did well on the critical scrum, clock in the red, with a tricky pickup when our scrum was under a lot of pressureJimmy Skitz wrote: ↑Wed Dec 29, 2021 3:01 pmyes and he moved there after Wiese's yellow at the weekend

So does anyone know if Wiese was suspended? Personally i thought the yellow v Bristol was very harsh.

No news announced yet. I thought his yellow for the no arms tackle against Quins was very soft. The other no arms tackle and the late hit on Sheedy I thought were both fair enough. He knew exactly what he was doing against Sheedy and the point is that he went flying in out of control. He needs to learn. Would be very surprised if he doesn’t picked up a one match ban, that’s what happened to Ross and Wiese’s yellows were all for foul playSoggypitch wrote: ↑Thu Dec 30, 2021 9:27 am So does anyone know if Wiese was suspended? My takeaways from this.
1 - atm we're in a better place for this weekend's game vs Wasps availability wise
2 - we're affected at least "a bit" by covid. Having till now not seen any training pics this week and the article saying press commitments have been delayed a bit, to me that suggests one or two may have been actually positive and we're trying to avoid any further squad spread by delaying some of the group trainings.

Wiese using him time off wisely. Let’s hope we see a difference on his return although I can’t imagine this is something that will change overnight but it’s promising that it’s being addressed

Great to see Hanro back training and also good to hear he’s been hitting the golf course! Must be close to a return.. would imagine we’d see him for the Sale game then if not beforeTigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Tue Jan 18, 2022 2:24 pm https://twitter.com/leicestertigers/sta ... 58726?s=21

Re: 21/22 Injury/Suspension Thread
Just bumping this up to see if anyone has some up to date news on MVS.
I do find the silence regarding his injury situation worrying, and whilst I respect Borthwick stance on keeping players availability a secret for short/ medium term, I would hope that something would have been said if it was a longer term issue
